Bathrobe #2

I finished Vivian's robe a few weeks ago but didn't have a good picture to post. The jury is still out on wheather or not I have a "good" picture - can't really see the robe, but damn my kids are cute!

Who would have thought bathrobes could be so exciting. They both love wearing them around after bathtime.

The different colors on Vivian's does come in handy when trying to figure out whos is whos.

These where made using a Burda pattern and I have to say I wasn't impressed with the collar directions for this pattern.

Ok NOW to finish those pajamas!

Bathrobe

Thanks to the a large northern shipment of hand me down clothes, Ava's drawers are bursting! So much so I find myself not wanting to make clothes for her, because she really doesn't need anymore at this point. So its time to try new things. Last week it was PJs, now this week a bathrobe.

Ava always complains she is freezing during the time she leaves the bathtub to getting into her Pj's, well NOT anymore. She is, and I quote, "Warm and Cozy." She got a big kick of having a robe like mommy and grandma. She even told me she wanted to wear it in the morning over her pj's, but this has yet to happen.

I just started cutting out the fabric to make one for Vivian, but I ended up being 2 sleeves short on the pink terry. I might have to get creative with Vivian's robe. We shall see.

Nighty Night

Quality PJs are hard to come by, so I had to take matters into my own hands! This is how we do flannel pjs in Florida, sleeveless and shorts! Ava is very pleased with her new jammies, she said she feels like she is wearing a blanket, however, there has been no request to hop into bed any earlier than normal.

I'm proud to report that with a little peace and quiet I was able to complete these in a few hours!

Christmas Dresses

I might not be completely finished with my shopping and I did slack on the Christmas cards this year, Merry Christmas by the way. But I did make these dresses for the girls!! Which was more enjoyable than addressing envelopes.
